Diglipur can be reached by road from Port Blair via the Andaman Trunk Road (approximately 12–14 hours) or by ferry services operating on select days. Most travelers prefer staying for 2–3 nights to fully explore the region’s natural attractions.
Diglipur developed as an agricultural settlement and later became known for its eco-tourism attractions and biodiversity. It remains one of the least commercialized regions of the Andaman Islands.
